History

The history of the Internet refers to the history of the global interconnected network of computers that use the Internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to communicate with each other. The Internet, sometimes called simply "the Net," is a worldwide system of computer networks in which users at any one computer can, if they have permission, get information from any other computer (and sometimes talk directly to users at other computers). It was originally designed to allow scientists to share research papers easily and quickly.

The Internet has grown to become a very large network made up of many smaller networks. The term "Internet" is sometimes used to mean the collection of all public and private networks that use the TCP/IP protocol. The term "World Wide Web" (often shortened to "WWW" or just "Web") is sometimes used to mean all the resources that can be accessed using a Web browser, a software program that lets you view pages on the Web.

The history of the Internet can be divided into three distinct phases:
# The early years of the Internet, when it was mainly used by academics and researchers.
# The growth of the commercial Internet in the 1990s, when it became accessible to the general public.
# The modern Internet, which is constantly evolving as new technologies and applications are developed. What is history best definition? What is history answer in English?

History is the study of past events, particularly those that have shaped the development of societies. It is a branch of the humanities, which also includes disciplines such as archaeology and anthropology.

Historians use a variety of sources to reconstruct past societies, including written documents, oral traditions, material culture (such as architecture and art), and environmental evidence (such as climate change). By understanding how societies have changed over time, historians can provide insights into the present and help people to make informed decisions about the future.

How do I clear my history?

There are a few ways to clear your history, depending on what you want to achieve.

If you simply want to clear your browsing history from your current browser session, most browsers have a shortcut for this. For example, in Chrome you can press Ctrl+Shift+Delete to open the Clear Browsing Data dialog. From here, you can choose what data you want to clear (e.g. your browsing history, cookies, cache, etc.) and the time period for which you want to clear it.

If you want to clear your browsing history from all time, or from a specific time period, you can do this from your browser's settings. In Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data. Again, you can choose what data to clear and the time period.

Note that clearing your browsing history will not remove all traces of your online activity. For example, your ISP may still have records of the websites you have visited. And if you are logged into any online accounts (e.g. Gmail, Facebook, etc.), those sites will also have records of your activity.
