Session

A session is a semi-permanent interactive information interchange, also known as a dialogue, a conversation or a meeting, between two or more communicating devices, or between a computer and user (see login session).

In a session, the software on each computer establishes a connection with the other computer, then they exchange data and disconnect when the session is complete. Session layer protocols define the format of the data that is exchanged during a session and how the computers should establish, maintain and end the session.

What is an example of a session?

A session is a logical connection between a client and a server. A session is typically associated with a particular user, and persists for a specified period of time.

For example, a user may open a web browser and begin a session by visiting a website. The user may then navigate to various pages on the website, and the web server will maintain a session for the user throughout the process. Once the user has been idle for a period of time, the session may be ended.

What is the app session? An application session is a sequence of network activity that occurs between a user and an Internet application. A session is typically characterized by a user logging in to the application, performing some tasks, and then logging out. During a session, the application keeps track of the user's activity and state. This allows the application to provide a customized experience for the user and also to ensure that the user's data is consistent across different page views. What is session in education? A session in education is a temporary, interactive connection between a student and a teacher. It typically lasts for a specific period of time and is used to facilitate learning.

What type of word is session? Session is a technical term with multiple definitions, but in general, a session refers to a period of time during which a user is actively using a particular application or service. In the context of the Internet, a session typically refers to the time period between a user logging into a website or service and logging out again. What does out of session mean? Out of session means that the user is not logged into the system. This can happen for a number of reasons, including the user not having an account, the user's account being disabled, or the user's account being locked out.
